What is a BLDC Motor ( Knowledge Share)
Brushless motor is a DC motor that replaces carbon brush commutation by electromagnetic control. A BLDC motor with three coils on the stator will have six wires (two per coil) extending from those coils. In most implementations, three of these wires will be connected internally, with the remaining three wires extending from the motor body. Because of the special structural design of the brushless motor, compared with the ordinary DC brushed motor, the brushless motor has its unique advantages
- High efficiency：Brushless motors can achieve long-term maximum torque output through control. Compared with brushed motors, which can only achieve maximum torque at the highest point, brushless motors can provide greater power and higher efficiency under the same magnet size.
- Controllability： Built-in driver feedback enables control of BLDC motors to deliver precisely the desired torque and speed
- Long working Life: The brushless motor does not need to consider the wear of the carbon brush, and the life of the brushless motor is theoretically unlimited within the bearing life range.
- Low noise: Compared with the electrical noise generated by the commutation of dc brushed motors, the rotation sound of brushless motors is smaller.
