Our Story
Doncen Motor began in Ningbo in 2001 with micro motors and gear transmissions. Over the years, we added planetary gearboxes, brushless motors, gear production and automated assembly.
Today, engineering, machining, assembly and quality teams work from the same application requirements. They review how the drive must move the mechanism, where it will fit and what the operating cycle demands. Drawings and sample feedback help settle the shaft, gearing and wiring. The agreed details then carry into assembly and inspection, so production units follow the approved design.

Doncen Motor was founded in Ningbo, with a focus on micro motors and gear transmission.
Jan. 2002
Independent research and development of micro DC gear motors began.
Jan. 2005
Started development of micro planetary gearboxes, with standard products from 16mm to 80mm.
July 2008
Established a micro gear motor R&D team for brushless motors, external rotor motors and gearboxes.
Sep. 2010
Introduced automated machining equipment.
July 2011
Added a powder metallurgy workshop for gear production.
July 2014
Purchased a 10,000 square meter plant for production and research.
Mar. 2018
Introduced the MX series brushless outer rotor motor.
